Congratulations to the Prison Service who claimed victory with a 7-4 margin over the Police Service in this annual golf competition. That win levels the series at 3-3 making next years contest all the more exciting. Congratulations also the individual prize winners: 3rd place; Mark Sweetland (37 points), 2nd place; John Crewe (39 points), 1st place; S. Whittaker (44 points).
In addition congratulations to John Hurst, Chris Givvons & Billy Byrne for scoring a two and receiving a dozen Srixon balls each.
This was the first year the GolfDay.co.uk managed this annual event. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. The weather was ideal and there was some very good golf played by both sides on a challenging Mottram Hall. We look forward to welcoming both sides back for next years competition.
